Often the tools for generative music, algorithmic composition, or other forms of computer-aided or computer-specified composition are difficult to use, configure, and deploy. This website attempts to provide such tools in high-level, easy-to-use web-based interfaces.
Envl.net was created and designed by composer Christopher Ariza. The design of envl.net is informed by years of research and software development in computer-aided algorithmic composition (CAAC). Evnl.net is offered as a free service.
Envl.net was created and is maintained with free, open-source software tools. Musical structures are algorithmically generated with athenaCL; the site and remaining system components are built with Python.
